White House claims that Biden's "red line" is not crossed by Israel's ground offensive and Rafah strike

On Tuesday, the United States clarified that Israel's actions in Rafah thus far do not constitute a "major ground operation" that would violate President Joe Biden's warnings.

After an airstrike in Rafah ignited a fire, Israeli forces moved deeper into the area. The White House stated that Israel hadn't crossed the "red line" set by the Biden administration.
